Our Process: How Our Rubber Toys Are Made
Sculpting
Our highly skilled craftsmen take the 2D or 3D drawings from our designer and hand sculpts in clay the first prototype. The sculptor works closely with our designer to ensure every detail is part of the prototype. Once the prototype has been accepted by our team the mold is dried and used for making the first sample. That mold will then be used for making the production molds.
Rubber Mixing
The rubber is received from our Rubber Plantations in Sri Lanka. We then mix the natural rubber latex and raw materials by mechanical stirring to make the latex compound.
Casting
Once the natural rubber and raw materials are thoroughly stirred the latex compound is then poured into the mold. After 45 to 60 minutes the extra latex compound is poured out.
Demolding
After drying is complete the mold is gently separated, and the product is taken out in preparation to be polished.
Polishing
The toys are inspected one by one. Each piece is polished to make it soft and smooth with a beautiful finish.
Spray Painting
Each piece is spray painted to the desired colors.
Hand Painting
The final details are hand painted by our artists to give each piece their special personality.
Once we complete the process of making our toys we don’t stop there in looking out for the environment. Our toys are then packaged in recyclable packaging.
